You have no front plates?
Is it a valid argument, from a legal point of view?
Very interested.

No no, all cars apart from i believe Enzos are legally required to have a front number plate. I believe the fine is £30 if you do not have one. Mine just falls off all the time. Got pulled once on mine and once in Toms and was just told to get it sorted. I obviously did but i cant help it if the council insist on making them so big!

I want to read up on this Enzo Law - interesting. Although having a big sticky plaster across the bonnet would be extremely evil.

Why can Enzos get away with it, and no other car?

Rich people drive enzo's and they have expensive lawyers , this makes it uneconomical to prosecute.
interesting point its a £60 fine if you have an incorect number plate and £40 if you have none !

I'm not sure they can but certain cars are allowed. Normally they are cars where there is no requirement in the country of origin and this means there's no place for the plate to go. No idea what cars do actually meet that criteria though.

Kit cars get away with murder also. Not sure if there is a law about them or not, but I was fine at MOT time in the Fury with a sticker regy over the bonnet (those sticker kits you can buy).
Also, I think side exit exausts on production cars are disallowed (to protect pedestrians) but kits are OK... (again, mine passed MOT with 4 pipes coming straight out the manifold, in to a single pipe and straight out the side with no baffles or anything) very noisy.
I have no signature.
