All of the classic styling cue's of an iconic 1970's supercar... combined with the proportions of a T-Rex and the front end of a Bond Bug!

Re: NLC: Unusual Spots
Had to pop up to Aberdeen on Sunday and managed to see a whole bunch of unusual spots (helped by a classic car show around the Dundee area)
Lotus Evora at Newbridge
Couple of German platted Daimler Darts
Going to/fom the classic car show:
Triumph TR6
Mk1 Ford Transit
Mk2 Ford Escort
Pair of Ford Capris, one definitely a 2.8i (who were a pain in the rear as they sat out on the outside lane and would not pull in)
Rover SD1
American Hot Rods
VW Campervans (split and one from later years)
VW Caddy custom
My personal favourite however was a Morris Minor police car (similar to this)

I was at said car show. Surprised you only spotted a pair of Capris, as (without counting..) I'd say there was at least 30 of them there!douglasgdmw wrote:Had to pop up to Aberdeen on Sunday and managed to see a whole bunch of unusual spots (helped by a classic car show around the Dundee area)

1 stand had 3 white 2.8i, there were a couple of 2.8 Brooklands around.
Lots of fast Fords at the show, nothing particularly amazing though the 'normal cars trying to become classics' brigade are getting stronger as there was:
Mk2 Cavalier saloon
Mk2 Cavalier L hatch
Mk3 Fiesta
Mk2 Fiesta L
Mk4 Granada
E39 5-series
plus a few others that are so forgetful that I have...!
The yellow Lancia mentioned above made an appearance too.
I also did Dundee to Kirkcaldy prior to the show and spotted a Daimler Dart.

Re: NLC: Unusual Spots
Spotted a Dart on Islay a couple of weeks ago. No better in the flesh than I'd feared.
Re: NLC: Unusual Spots
Pretty sure I saw a LaFerrari pass my house yesterday.
I was cutting the grass and just looked up as it rolled by and caught a glimpse of the rear end.

Re: NLC: Unusual Spots
Having had a few conversations with friends over the years, where it has been discussed - "when on a spirited drive, you know that decision you have to make when you realize a cop car is about to come after you - should you ease of and wait, or go for it and bugger off?..." well I know the answer if that was the cop car in question!douglasgdmw wrote:

Should add, that the above conversations have always been purely hypothetical of course! Also add, I have never had to make such a decision!

Also found out on the way down that the 335D can keep pace reasonably well with a B5 RS4 Saloon on acceleration
