Andy - agree, the 701 is marginally better as a hillclimb from Moffat!

Tut - welcome aboard. Do we need to pre-book a Medevac?!

Pretty well placed with our in house medic Ross coming with us.

I remember on Stelvio 2001 when I burst my prescription Nitro spray when pushing the seat back and Ross got me a replacement from a local Chemist.

No bed baths, though...You'll need to find somebody else to undertake that particular responsibility...

Looking forward to it...Posted some pics from Donington 2000 on the other thread (http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... =9&t=19653

Where have the past nine years gone?!

Great to see that the vast majority who travelled down on that first trip are still active on the forum, and still own an Elise of some variety... :thumbsup

Cheers,

Ross.

Right people, it'll be just 2 weeks to go soon so I will be phoning the restaurant to make a booking this weekend latest.

Currently looks like 11 people for the curry on Saturday night, any other names need to be on the list by Friday, 3rd April otherwise you will just need to take your chances. 4550 Miles from Delhi is ALWAYS busy ;-)

Also it will soon be decision time on routes and groups for those planning to hook up during the Friday 17th for a run down. Probably not many of us, if any, this year though :-( I have decided to take the day off, so will be departing south Edinburgh area (Dobbies Garden Centre near Sherriffhall r'bout, A720 city bypass) around 9am with a view to a scenic route as far as I can manage. I think I may have devised a belter which adds around 50 miles and a couple of hours over the direct (boring) route - approx 7 hours driving plus a nice lunch stop somewhere in the northern Pennines or Yorkshire Dales. Would still put us at the hotel (and bar) around 6pm.

If you want me to wait for you at the selected meeting point, add your name below, otherwise see you in the bar at the Premier Inn!

cheers

Campbell
