  Okay so maybe my figures are bullsh!t but I think that there would have been a fair amount of foreigners involved. And maybe I should be PC and say "if" there were any "foreigners" involved they should be sent back to their country of origin.

And before you call me prejudice against foreigners...I am a foreigener, I wasn't born in the UK and neither were any of family. If you're trying to say I might be prejudice of people of a different race or color, I never once mentioned race or color in my post. My comment wass aimed at all races and all colors including white foreigners.
OK I'm intrigued. Why do you think that so many involved were foreigners? I'll let you off with the actually figures and write that off as rhetoric but you are still suggesting a large proportion are foreigners. Why? You are seem to be the first to suggest they are anything other than a disaffected/criminal youth (depending on your news source).
Are you suggesting that some sort of 5th column is at work in London? This is astonishing news!

Hmmm, I suppose you're right I'm being a bit harsh and I suppose london isn't full of foreigners, enough so to asume that some of the people involved might have been foreign.

I'm now sure none of the people involved were foreign

What I saying in my first post was that the ones that are foreign should get chucked out and made an example of. What you're saying is that they're just all mindless criminals. I'm entitled to my views you're entitled to yours.

Anyway I'm bored, this conversation is going nowhere :tired :tired

Maybe we need Top Gear to come up with some armoured vehicles to cope with the rioters, that mine clearance vehicle would be quite effective....

Everyone has been sent home early from our office in London and the remaining Scots who have nothing better to do have been advised to keep off the streets. They may be using rubber bullets tonight, maybe that'll help.

This could prove problematic for the police if it shows they shot in response to one of their own guns being fired
From the BBC mobile text feed

1732
The IPCC says the Forensic Science Service has also confirmed that the bullet lodged in a police radio was police issue and consistent with being fired from a police gun.
1729
The Independent Police Complaints commission says ballistic test results so far show no evidence that a handgun found at the scene of the fatal police shooting of Mark Duggan had been fired. It says the Forensic Science Service is carrying out further tests to confirm this.

Won't help quell the anti-police mood though I'd say this has gone way beyond that and is now malicious lawlessness
