£6k and £670 per month from memory over 24 months
Certainly far less than the depreciation!
I keep looking for signs of these cars coming back on the market at much cheapness

My neighbour at work had a call from Fairbain on Thursday offering him an e92 M3 at £3.7k down and 499PM. He's tempted, but likes his e39 M5 too much.

As some of you might be aware I had a deposit down on a V6 Exige last year however, after the build moved out a number of times and with no firm schedule at the time, I cancelled my order. I still thought about going for one for a good while after but, cutting a long story short, I ended up going down the Porsche route and went for a Boxster Spyder. It's a manual with sports exhaust, bucket seats and not too much else. Think of this thing as a mix of a Porsche, Lotus and Caterham :) Reasonable power, lighter weight, well set up, well built etc. With only 100-ish manual Spyders and 110 PDK's I'm hoping it has decent residuals too. I picked it up at the back end of last week and first impressions are very, very good.

Nice! Not sure I could put up with that roof though. Is it as bad as the reviews make out?

Today will now be taken up with research on C63 lease deals

Boxster Spyder is the knees of the bee
The residuals will be as you stated and Roofs are for Poofs!

Love the S1 roof.

Hope that it is easier and quicker to put up.

Regarding the C63, as a daily, what do you expect the mpg of B-road driving to be?
Low 20s is acceptable but teens as I know from the Aston is regular trips to the petrol station.

Servicing seems very reasonable and they will be bullet proof so what's not to like?

Aston might be up for sale in a month.
Will have its tax renewed, new tyres, service / MOT from MMC.
Only 23k miles too. Who wants it? :D :cheers

Hi Justin, the roof isn't a big deal at all. Not as easy to put on as an S2 Elise but I guess a couple of minutes max once used to it. I was expecting the roof to be really noisy but it was absolutely fine a cruising speed on the dual carriageway.

Looks a faff but will probably live in Chris's garage without it on.
Makes it easier for Chris to polish it.....
