Our baby-wagon has the pimp-glass fitted from factory, so I'll probably just grab something cheap and universal for Audi or Elise use.

Roller blind was £2 from ebay. If I get up to KH today I will bring it along.

Halfords then Aldi supplied adequate retrofit roller blinds for us. Kids have now abused them so often that they have been instructed to manage without. Shades all the way now ;-)

Dom - and others - we may well have some bits of baby kit knocking around, post up a Wanted ad as needs arise? Reminds me, Dom, I think I was to check out our backpack carrier for you. Stand by :-)

May be able to source stair gates (by the time you need one - generally 9 mths in or later). Ours are currently deployed for my neice but she may be climbing over them later this year ;-)

As for The Manual you ask about, it is too long to print, and too big to email!

Stair gates and plug blanking thingies (along with kitchen cupboard locks and fire guards if you need one) are available free of charge from your local council. They'll even fit them for you. :thumbsup

Looking back from where we are (kids of 3 and 6) the buggy thing seems to be broken into pre and post McLaren phases. :)

Council H&S inspectors gave me plug protectors. Electrician mate swears they increase the risk as uk plug sockets have an auto blanking plate on the live socket which the protector raises.

This is very true, the earth pin (top one) is longer to push open this blanking plate...but you'd still not want to witness a toddler poking their wee digits into an open socket
