that is genius Mike. Love it.
Re: Election result - what does it mean for Scotland?
That is utter f*cking nonsense, Mike. Complete p*sh, and very dangerously misleading for anyone reading it.
10 guys drinking beer should be allowed a budget of AT LEAST £500 per night.

I was trying to account for the not so well off Graeme, not everybody can afford to spunk £500 on a cheap night out

The system already accounts for them, Mike. They don't pay anything, remember? No point everyone being sober and miserable.
Also, I support this system of payment for SE curry nights.

Norweigians don't care that beer is £7 a pint.... They get paid enormous ammounts and have a strong currency.

Clever Nats still pushing ahead with demands for FFA.

While in other news, current predicted (but highly speculative) forecasts for future revenue potential from NS Oil (for UK or Scotland) equates to about ~£100 MILLION per year (£2 Billion over ~20 years)..

Can anyone please explain why this is considered by YESNP as a good thing? I'm honestly baffled..

Re: Election result - what does it mean for Scotland?
I think FFA would be great
Why?
Because i ain't on the dole so it would not me be screaming for freedom and justice once Scotland goes broke
If it gets really sh*t then i can leave as i have the skills knowledge and experience to get a job elsewhere
Those waving SNP flags from a sh*t council estate might not be so lucky

I can sit back and watch them fight it out, will not make a jot of difference to me or Verian, my Pensions will continue with annual increases as normal, I pay FA Income Tax, selfish maybe but factual. Moved from a great house to another great house which will be the end of the line, have a wife that I do not deserve, and come August I will be an Elise driver again
Obviously I will still take an interest in another vote and would sit back and observe if it was a yes one, but I doubt if it would negatively affect me.

Either they can't count, or they bought a very cheap calculator... which can't count. I am yet to see any SNP figures that add up.Rosssco wrote:

I'm yet to see any figures from anyone that add up. The SNP isn't alone here.Dominic wrote:Either they can't count, or they bought a very cheap calculator... which can't count. I am yet to see any SNP figures that add up.Rosssco wrote:

Most political parties have different spins on the 'figures'.. That's fairly normal, and reflects their own spending plans.GBOBM wrote:I'm yet to see any figures from anyone that add up. The minor problem with the SNP "plan" (and I'm being generous in use of the word "plan"), is to completely ignore projections from a number of sources (and murmering from within their own party) that it would lead to austerity max, i.e. a budget deficit on top of the existing budget deficit (of the UK) if FFA / FFR / FFS was introduced.
The problem of course is that we have so many "believers" in Scotland now, and so much naturally distrusting of anything perceived anti-Scottish tin-foil-hat wearers, that they will swallow something that should be fairly alarming to anybody with a fairly basic grasp of numbers..
As usual with politics, people perk up and take sides during big political "events" like elections / referendums, but switch off in normal times when the real big policy changes are happening, like now.
