Just off the phone to Zenos, no concerns about the car in heavy rain but did say the the ZZR's are particularly hopeless in the wet

Especially with new tyre depth, just keep the heat in them, you will be fine.
I managed many p1ssing rain miles in N3 on pretty well worn ones no issues.
A048's that are on it now are of a similar tread level, not ideal, but not dangerous.

yup but planning leaving morning time if anyone fancies getting there a bit sooner.
