The problem is that all of the official Lotus photos for any model never seem to do the car any justice... hope to see it in the flesh soon and will make my mind up then.
The S3 Exige should look good...

Now I wonder how much the car will weigh, am guessing about the same or just slightly more than an S2

What a let down. I was thinking it would be a new model rather than a mild makeover. Looks good, but really more of an S2-and-a-bit than an S3. And a weedy 1.6

I want 2 litres, a turbo, and loadsa torque.

The S1 'borrowed' many styling points from the Ferarri Dino... and there was no law suit back then.

There are possibly a couple of very small similarities in the S3 vs California pics, on the front end... but only a blind fool would think one was a copy of the other....

....and there are a number of ex Ferrari staff now working for Lotus so their design ideas may well produce some crossover between brands.

Evo says 134 bhp and 876kg ! so that's 150ish bhp per tonne.

Complicate and add weight, it would seem

I like the front end, alot cleaner.

Lets see what it looks like in the flesh, and what other varients come along with forced induction etc
