Graeme,

Always enjoyed poping in to the showroom for a chat, and sometimes coming out with a new car.......

Looking forward to hearing what you are up to next.

Alan

Best of Luck Greame, I loved the whole Lotus experience both when we bought the S2 from new and then the S1.
still remember turning up for a test drive late one night after seeing the S2 at the motor show and someone hadn't booked us in - I remember your question... What is the elise competing against? Mac's response .... nothing providing Mandy's feet reach the pedells :D :D , oh well in that case test drive it up and down the industrial estate :D That was us hooked :D
Then of course you phoned to say there was an s1 for sale..... Mac resisted and resisted but of course made the mistake of telling me... my response... what colour? (doesnt normally bother me) Mac... Azzure Blue.... me lets go buy it lol :D :D One of the best birthday pressie's I have ever had. 8)

Lots of great memories and fun - thanks a million and good luck in your new adventure.

Hello Graeme,

It is sad to hear you are leaving MMC but I am sure what ever you do will be a success.

Like every other story in this thread, it begins with several trips to sighthill (i think over 5yrs) before the eventful purchase of the first Lotus, starlight black Elise S, only to be eclipsed by the purchase of the Club Racer, truly one of the best purchase days of my life. I can't remember who was more excited, you or me!

Then the help you (& Craig) gave me when we moved over to Australia and needed a temporary home for the Exige. Sitting her in the showroom (with a sold, don't touch sign), was over and above the call of duty. I am forever in your debt, as it took a big problem off our minds. The offer of a bed if you are ever in Brisbane is still there, we have 30 degree sunshine, while you all freeze in the snow. Think about it.

All the best,

Lindsay & Laura

Just spotted this thread sorry Graeme. Just wanted to add that Helen and I are sad to hear you are leaving MMC too and we really wish you the best of luck for the future. Was looking forward to purchasing our next Lotus from you one of these days, you really were a massive help to us novices ... you driving was a tad scary though :D

Take care.
Scott

Graeme, sorry your leaving but looking forward to hearing about your new venture. You were a great help when I was buying my 2-11. Just make sure you don't sell the black one up here

Only joking, all the best.

Graeme
I already posted a reponse on TLF but wish you the best of luck and can't wait to hear what you are moving on to.
If the jungle drums are correct it sounds exciting.
I popped in today to get the winter wheels and tyres fitted but you weren't around.

Hi Graeme...

Good luck with whatever you are doing.

Thank you for the great deal on my car a few years back. The number of emails I sent you before buying it, asking silly questions was ridiculous and you answered them all !! Rather than telling me to f off or buy it :)

Might drop by before the 30th if I'm in Edinburgh. Good luck and wish you all the best :)

Has Mr Boag made a purchase??
No, different Ian. My next door neighbour who is 82 yo has ordered an Evora, after much persuasion from yours truly!

He is a very competent driver, having been one of the original ecurie ecosse drivers, competing at Le Mans in the 50's.

I reckon he must be Graemes oldest ( age ) Lotus customer, and he is now a lurker on SE, which presumably removes Tut from the oldest title?
Did you spec it so you can pick up a cheap second hand one :-)
