Yes, Tickemaster is an abomination of a site!

I too was gutted to miss out in August (and an instant Ticketmaster website hater...) but this time there are still plenty available, even this afternoon. Maybe due to the poor publicity. I only found out by stumbling across an announcement on Facebook early this morning and managed to grab a pair near the finish line for Sat evening :)

Might have been my post,

I've got tickets for all day Sunday,

Found out this week at work..... Well I do work at the velodrome that tickets were being released but we were made to keep hush hush!

Could probably have snuck in with my pass but the mrs, my mate and his mrs wouldn't have got in so just bought 4 tickets at 11am and got them on the family deal!

Went and saw some of the racing last Friday and was impressive to see it being so busy compared to empty when setting up the event!

Cheers guys. Family tickets just bought for Friday night. :thumbsup

Read the other week about the teaching/trial sessions you can book up which I really fancy taking the family to but we will see how the professionals do it first.

Yup you can ride the velodrome yourself!!

Its £10.20 to do your "introduction to track cycling" which makes up part one of your accreditation (4 stages which you'd be required to complete before taking part in competitions on the track)

Sessions are currently fully booked up until after 1st December. You can register your details online which currently there is a backlog of about 200 to process but you'd receive your details via email and then you can book your introduction to track cycling via the website.

There has been a lot of interest in it which is great to see!

Sounds very positive!

Could be tempted to give it a go at some stage. Will need to get my fitness levels back up first of all.
