Maybe he meant fluffy pussy but refrained for fear of reprimand.

Disappointed. A few posts back, in a shock move, you and Kelvin were agreeing :-)

Now you are happily admitting to baiting him.

At what point does banter become just plain wicked?

My kids can get sh!t like this in their school playground. In fact they do and it's pretty upsetting to sort out.

Do keep the debating skills alive - both of you. But play fair, eh?
I'll lay you 5:1 that it isn't baiting.

To pretend it is is just a technique - rather than admitting to a rubbish reference, or heaven forbid being wrong - it's easier on the self to pretend it was deliberate.

As soon as Scuffers starts admitting his outlying references might be a bit shaky the whole house of cards might come falling down.

Really?

And how's that working out for you?

He's not even in office yet and yet he's managed to achieve more in 4 weeks then Obama did in 8 years

Oh dammit I'll bite, what has he achieved?

Backed away from campaign promises (or where they suggestions?).

Employed career politicians to 'drain the swamp' of errm career politicians?

Over to you, I'm sure you have a list ;)

I used to think I was cynical, but you seem to have blown that out the water!

I can only imagine your feed for news is CNN or ABC?

So, day 2, TTIP is dead in the water, people have been trying to kill that off for years, he manages it in one speech.
in his campaigning, he spoke about Carrier - post election, he has followed through - deal done (and he's still not president).

so, then we get to his so called backing away..

1) the wall - I bet you £100 the wall will happen (yes, some bit's may be multi-fence rather than brick walls) but it will be built - care to take me on this?

2) drain the swamp - jury is still out, but so far so good, he had yet to appoint a known Washington tosser.

3) Lock her up - not really for the president, that's the FBI and Justice depts job, let's see who he put's in at the top of them and see what happens - I suspect a lot of this is waiting till after the 20th, else Obamy will just issue her a pardon before he quits.

As John Snow might say, let's look at the maths...

1xStalled trade policy + 3 things yet to happen != 8 years as president. :thumbs up

That doesn't mean he can't do it. It's just early days. :-)

I think the funny thing about the wall is that apparently there is a fence already, so is the development of a wall not a bit moot.

not quite..

there's something like 600 miles of fence/walls of a total border of some ~2,000 miles.

that said, quite a bit of the ~2,000 miles is very hard terrane, so unlikely to need any additional fortification.
