Saw this on another forum I frequent and it caused a lot of the blood to drain from my head:-

That's carbon fibre and ceramic you're looking at there, folks.

£24k is a lot of money for a watch though .. and even if I sold my whole collection I think I'm still a little shy :damnfunny

Did you see the abomination in a couple of months ago ? Carved out of ceramic brake discs, could have been a F1 disc cannot remember.

the crown on my monaco has come off (lost on a dodgy club in peterhead saturday night)

it could also do with a service as well. is it worth going back to the local Jewellers/dealers i bought it from, for them to send it back to TAG or does anyone know of a good/cheaper option? Hauer boy?

thanks

Think Nic (Heuerboy) charges £260 ish for a service, plus any required parts - Takes 8 - 10 weeks...

(Hear good things about his work, and he's decent enough to deal with).

He sorted me out with a proper strap for my watch, which I fitted today:

Guys, where is the best place to get a Panerai looked at in Edinburgh?

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Only place I know that does PAMs Mass is Hamilton & Inches. I doubt they've got a service centre, so if you went in there they would likely send it back to Panerai - hopefully that way you're less likely to have someone make a mess of it.

One for the gurus....

Chopard? Yeh or nay. I like the look, but are they a sought after, quality watch?
:cheers
