Well Done G
A proper "Grown Ups" watch that stands out amongst the usual suspects
Is it not about time you had a dress watch like a Portuguese to complete your "Man about Town" look?

Justin,

I used to have that very same Bell and Ross.
Nice watch. Sold it to a friend who might look to pass it on. Interested?

My Tag has stopped, needs a new battery. :(

Its now four years old (approx)
Should I get it properly serviced or should I just get a random jeweler to throw in a new battery?

Basically my questions is: Is an expensive service worth it?

TIA :thumbsup

Chuck battery in.
My motto, why service if it's keeping time.
If yours only needs a battery, do that

Ed,
My Tag Kirium was 10 years old last year.
The crown screw was knackered - so i sent it down to Chealwatch(.co.uk)
They fixed it & serviced it at the same time.
and put a battery in it

Wish i just got them to fix the crown screw.
once I got it back
The chronograph reset button went stiff - so it was away back down to them for 6 weeks to get fixed (under his 1yr warranty)
its still not 100%

and the battery he put in it only lasted 1 year
normally the battery lasts 3 years in my watch.

If you want my opinion - take it into Tomian Jewelers in Forth Street
He'll put a battery in it for £6
OK - not pressure tested
I've dived to 32 metres with it not pressure tested & its been fine.

Thanks for the advice gents! :thumbsup

Took my watch to Tomians and he sorted it, replacement a broken screw (and found the broken bits)

Only cost £9 so very happy! 8)
