Used Car Roadshow ITV4

before I get shot to pieces, it was very bad day at work yesterday, got off train, sought out fish and chips comfort food - sat in recliner and turned TV on.
Used car Roadshow - which admittedly, is sh*t. Usually a cringe fest where the galant presenters try to match TG enthusiasm and crowd action with no results. There is only so much you can get from a group of obvious unemployables considering 'Bob' who has to shoose between a Pugrot oil burner, a Renault Excruciating and a Focus estate.
about to hit channel hop function.....and matey boy featured has 15K to spend on a sports car. gets interesting.
Car 1 - Porker...but a boxster (actually looked at one myself
) metalic silver, black leather...blah , blah, blah wanted £15500
Car 2 - Honda, S2000, silver, red leather, £15000, was a nice one tho.
Car 3 - Lotus Elise , Type 72 Anniversary Edition, Black and Gold, 14K miles, service, obviously treasured - £14200
Three test drives, he dumps the Porker...and then quite rightly decided on the Loti.....during the drive he said it had always been his dream to own it and it was an amazing driving experience. "you can hear every bolt rattling"
I believe the term 'smile factor' was used frequently.
Think that was the highight of the series...probably back to a used Toyota Yaaaarrrrggis poverty spec and a tired 1.8 Beemer estate tonight
Punch
