Weekend Maneuvers

It's that time of week again (thank the Lord)

So what's everyone up to over the weekend? If this weather keeps up, a wee impromptu Sunday run may be in order....

Anyway - stuff I've got planned amounts to giving the Merc a little TLC on Sat (wash, oil change, sort niggles, that sorta thing) and take the missus out on Saturday night - we've been vegatative all week and I owe her a night drinking (as opposed to driving me!)

What's the stories, chaps?

bit of spit & polish for the old elise this afternoon, and then dig out the glad rags and get them washed and ironed.

Tomorrow we're off to the Hilton for the annual Clydesdale Bank staff dance, with a room booked so we can both get rat @rsed :-)

Gonna try and blag myself an outdoor parking space (beside all the fancy cars at the front door)

Need to put the posh weegie voice on and say that I don't think the car would manage the ramps :-)))))))

Helping out? What do you do? Promo, or you in the live industry?

I'm getting my bag packed tonight and organising a hiding place for the Elise, lending my Cherokee to my brother-in-law and sorting out my van. All in preparation for tommorow, when I am heading up to Thurso, then on Sun getting the ferry over to Orkney where I'll be working for the week... :(

GF's pal runs Colours which is putting the event on, GF is partner in a guerilla marketing company that are doing a wee bit of promo at the event.

I always help out at the big nights anyway as its usually a laugh - my job on sat it to make sure the atists don't drink to much, are on stage on time and then p*ss off afterwards without drinking everything or smuggling groupies in

EDIT: It also makes a nice contrast to my day job as a Database Analyst !

Greg,

If you need a survey done let me know - I work for Shepherd surveyors in Edinburgh we might have seen it before! Could do you a good deal!

Also will be up for my first run on Sunday if there is a crowd going out
