Twas not just the re-spray, the car went in with four different colours, and he had quite a lot of repair work to do on both sills, front clam, one door, mirror assembly, front arch, and both front and rear bonnets. Everything was also stripped off, not just masked, and re-assembled.
He is a bit of a perfectionist, and it shows in the end result. All this a mile from home, in fact he is almost next door to John Duthie.
I did not think there was much chance of the wheels being resurrected, never seen any in that state, but again they have come up like new. The corrosion had eaten right into the alloy.
She has not been polished yet, will wait another week for the paint to harden completely, then speak nicely to Verian.
Now just need the boys to get going on the interior.
