Thanks Shug for the tour

some good roads down your nick of the woods .Although some of the corners reminded me of the fortnight before backwards !!!!!!!still not to commited in some of the frosty bends.
i was held for ages in some of the best corners by some old farts felt at home for about 0.5 sec

thanks for coming to see if we were ok!! !Hopefully back to fulltilt next time.

by the way girlfriend has cool flat entrance bollocks.!!!!

Gracias - 'twas a good wee run. Like you say, bit on the slidy side though - but good to see everyone was sensible and no big scares.

Was disappointed with the traffic - much more than I'm used to on those roads and nobody was particularly co-operative with passing

Still, was worth it for the few miles of dry twisties we got in.

Roads were a bit mucky though....

Yep, some decent twisties. Slightly spoilt by my hangover kicking in to full effect mid run. But a good blast all the same. Some of the corners were a bit sketchy with the frosty bits. (always seemed to be round blind bends

). Good roads in the later part of the run, with some bad bumps mid bend that could catch you out if your sleeping a bit. And a lot of the quicker 3rd gear bends just tighten into 2nd gear stuff. Again, kinda need your wits about you.

First run i've done with earplugs in and what a difference, all i could hear was the exhaust howling away and no squeaking or clunking.

Just meant Shug had to shout down the phone to me when getting directions to the meet place

Tried to spice up some of the slower parts of the run with some powerslides. Got a good one on a rounbabout (think neil was behind me) and then again when some guy was pointing at the cars. Seemed like a good idea at the time to dump the clutch at 20mph in 2nd and snake down the road (much to the amusement of Shug

) Well....... gotta fight the boredom somehow

Any pics of the cars in that carpark???

Oh, and that filler cap is a little questionable... too much polishing!

Kinda figured you were suffering mate, but I can't think of a better way of blowing out the cobwebs (amongst other things - before you say it Giles..)

...yeah, nothing more sad than a shiny Elise with the blinding sun glinting off the hardtop....
