That is sad, as i have got older I have found that some people are (and the do-gooders of this world will want to kill me for this) Thick.

More than 15m adults in Britain have poor numeracy - the equivalent of a G or below at GCSE maths

G or below ! I saw a standard grade foundation paper a few years ago and it was full of 1+2, 3*3, 9^2 etc and they are not even at that level!
