Council muppets.
Just miserable Aberdonians....perhaps if Trump paints the grass grey they might go for it.

From what Ive heard, the golf course was only there to disguise the housing developments. This new village is what has been oppossed but may be wrong. Its a shame because anything north of aberdeen has been cut off, this would have been the first substantial development bringing interest back into the North East.

Being an ex-greenkeeper, course builder and a golfer. I am a bit miffed by this. They have really missed a great opportunity for the NE.

I can understand the geens about the environmental damage especially the amount of houses trump if trying to get. Think he is being to greedy, but then again he's in it for the money not the love. If he was in it for the love he would have built something like St Andrews Bay.

I hope that they can come to some kind of compromise.

Ahh, fond memories of Balmedie beach as it was an excellent nookie area when I was in my youth :P

Suspect the development of house would have put paid to that, so at least the local lads can now have a bit of action without getting spied upon :D

Never read your coloumn, you got a copy?
In the office we were just saying that if this council were in power thirty years ago there would not be an oil industry today!

It's not just trumps stuff, there are possible further golf developments at blairs and Stoney that could come on the back of this.
