MMC visit

Popped into MMC yesterday (had a rare day off and took the g/f through to Edin for a wander) Let her have a drool over the Astons & stuff too. I assume it's Brian's old Noble that's in the showroom?

Anyway, as I was leaving, Graeme asked me over. There were a couple of chaps up from Lotus (on an obvious dealer schmooze session) who were fielding questions about the circuit car. It appears that concensus is that a SVA'd road legal car is mooted for a rough £35k pricepoint (with the S/C engine) and a non road legal track version around the £29k price.

Guess MMC want some more feedback on this - so I've posted it here :)

It is Brians.
Lovely car and will come with a brand new engine with warranty from Noble.

Track car not my thing. Best waiting for Ali, Tut or Scotty.

Personally I wouldn't consider it as my car has to do the daily commute.

Hypothetically, considering a road legal version with no roof etc. I'd probably get a Caterham (even a road legal Radical) for that price. Non-road legal, again a Caterham or Radical would be more fun and blow it to the weeds...
