Well done the Scooby boys

My daughter has been in hospital for a few days (St John's in Livingston). Today the kids got a visit from Santa which was funded by Scooby Santa Cruise. The nice prezzies really cheered the kids up so well done to them.
Made me think that we could do something similar for next year. :)

Nice touch.

I hope that your daughter is getting better now and that she will be home for Xmas?

We're doing the same for the ARI in Aberdeen this coming Saturday as well, and Yorkhill in Glasgow. Any charity money we collect over the year (including the Alford event) gets saved up and we buy loads of pressies for the kids hospitals.

Most of us don't frequent the scoobie forums so we miss out on charity things apart from the alford day

Could you let us know about any events taking place and i am sure some us would turn up and do our bit

Will do. This year it's been some rolling road events, Alford, calendar sales (I don't think many on here would be interested in a Scooby calendar, but there are 9 left at £7 each if you are :D), and the casino night. There's plans for similar events next year, so I'll keep you all informed.

We've got about £2.5k of TVs, portable DVD players (for kids in isolation rooms), Wii's[1], games and other goodies going to ARI on Saturday. It should hopefully make a few people happy.
