V.nice.. quite a few narrow sections I'd need to tip toe around but would make good practice no matter how slow I was..

Jeez - I thought I had my finger on the FF button, I wonder if the driver's eyes stung when he finally blinked?

I put that video together for Lawrence some years ago . . . I doubt you'd have the same reaction from the driver after 17Km . . . with the likes of Doune you probably don't even breathe . . . <50 seconds, 1 mile, standing start . . . and every second counts, there is no contingency, there is no runoff, there is no opportunity for error, if you spin the car or even hang the tail out likely you will seriously damage it . . . it's just not the same deal . . .
At the top of Doune last season I could barely work out how to shut down the car or take my helmet off, most people I spoke to were in a similar state . . . but that's why people do it . . .
Same thing as driving up 17Km of nice wide public road ? . . . hmmmm
