I dont think he made life easy for himself, but I do think that the cops were a bit heavy handed.

That baldy guy was supercop in front of the cameras though, dropping in some sarcastic comments.

I'm with you JJ.

Given the fact he pulled onto the shoulder and stopped without a fuss, I thought hauling him out of the car was unnecessary. Given his age, he's bound to have been perpetually pulled driving that car so you could understand his reluctance to be completely co-operative at the outset.

However, knowing your plates were wrong, and driving off from a petrol station (never did find out what tat was all about!?) then you shouldn't be surprised to get some heat from the fuzz.

Felt sorry for him at the end as he was clearly acting up to the cameras in the knowledge he had plod on the back foot after his manhandling. Doubt he'd have been so brave/stupid if the cameras weren't there.

On the 14 day retort... he does have a point!

Surprised if that £30 fine will stand up.

The only way is if he was not allowed to drive the car again with the wrong numberplate, even though he had 14 days to prove that he had replaced it.

Can not believe that the law would allow him to drive around, yet the unasked question was that the police car was obviously allowing him to drive off again, so how could he be illegal?

If he was they could just stop him again and issue another ticket. Pretty sure this is what would happen with illegal tyres.

Anyone else utterly pissed off by the bike who only got a slap on the wrist for gunning it at 96? He only got away with it cos the old dosser loves power rangers, he said that a bike like that wasn't even trying, I wonder if we would get away with that excuse, I don't think...

Was a bit rubbish...

Young lad was being a tosser but so were the cops.
It did say in the postscript that he paid his fine.
But he did have a point, why was he allowed to drive off...
