The same driving lamp bracket 7 years apart  The new one has had the factory paint balsted off of it and been painted properly before it goes on the car.

Of course. Stella lubricates the gears of the RAF. With out it everythign grinds to a halt.

Used to run the workshops in NI, the Police were never popular and were charged properly for every job at £££ an hour they even charged them for the time it took to work out how much to charge them...

The part's will have been manufactured by a sub contractor and the price per part will be in the pence (although more expensive than a mainstream manufacturer) they may be deliberatly underspecing the coating so that you have to buy new one's, although my money is on a lack of thought regarding rustproofing within the design process. Some of the coatings on the car are a bit shody, but then again what is the profit margin in the car ?
