I will be doing a number of events this year but not the whole season. Working offshore means I won't be home for them all

Looks like the 16th march according to the MSCC website.

Mr wacky racer was talking to me about it and Mac recons its not as scary as kames or fintray so sounds like an ideal place to start for me :D

It's a toss between kames and forrestburn. Kames is faster but has fewer thing to hit. Forrestburn can be a bit unforgiving, lots of big rocks in the in-field and a bit more technical.

Should be at many of them one way or the other this year . . . depends on getting entries tho . . .

I'd only say one other thing . . . don't look at tracks on the basis of there being less to hit . . . it actually tends to work the other way . . . while there were some accidents at the likes of Doune last year . . . there were more at Kames and Forrestburn . . . I think because people 'think' there is less to hit . . . of course . . . that's just not the case . . .

It's also worth getting somebody who knows the track to walk you round . . . some little pitfalls are not always obvious . . .

Yes, I will be doing a variety of hills and sprints in the saxo.

Should be doing Doune, Forestburn, Fintray, Alford, Golspie and maybe a trip to Kames. Lossie is a maybe.
