The bodykit looks very "aftermarket". maybe its the colour that makes it stick out a bit (the spoiler).

Yeah, ex CTR owner (simon! 
) I think it looks a bit chavtasticle, yeah the yellow helps highlight it, but now as has been said looks like it has just had a trip to Ripspeed 
Not for me! Having said that I drive a executive saloon, what the fook would i know!

I agree with Dave on the chavtastic looks however this is still the concept version. Honda claim to have listened to what the public wants and with be providing options when it eventually comes on sale.
You will be able to buy the lardass version with add on skirts, spoilers, gadgets and all the bling ICE you want and a stripped out lightweight car that actually handles. More akin to the DC2 philosophy.

Looks like the guy who put the MG spoliers on the Rover 25 has found new empoyment with Honda.

Don't see the point in CTRs when you can get a scooby for not much more.

For every person that thinks that I guess there is probably one who thinks why should I pay Scooby fuel prices, scooby servicing costs when I can get Scooby performance for a cheaper price in a CTR.ewanrw wrote:Don't see the point in CTRs when you can get a scooby for not much more.

I still love the look of the Esprit....definately timeless (apart from the interior )
Read about the Type r last night, and apparently there is also talk of the Type RR, which will be a stripped down version with more power.

Type R is also in this month's Evo, but not driven.

I think Honda lost their way after the original Intergra Type R which felt (for better comparison) like the between 1100kg fwd S1 and a S2 Elan..
I had a black one on a 2000 a few years back - like an Elise - tight suspension, no roll, just goaded you to keep the revs high and drive the car constantly point to point - top engine if you ever wnat to drop into an S1.. much better than the larger 2 litre, lighter, more square - higher revving, better balanced, and finished ported head etc as standard - titanium valve springs, the works... Once did Larbert to Selkirk in sub 2 hours (est officer) down A7 one Sunday morning.. great fun.
