Walshy just teaches you more about the fundamentals&techniques of car control in your first session , how to steer, and how to control the car better - these can be applied in any situation, and its an awesome laugh! He is a very good instructor and will tailor your session dependant on your ability. (I must go again soon!!)
I haven't done Walshy yet so give me a shout if you are planing an SE group booking.

Done Don Palmer day a few weeks ago. Excellent fun, learning to drift the CR at 70+ mph in a zig zag :drive

The rear tyres were well gone :blackeye

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

WEll Mass me and Holly are thinking going down. Think he does the 4 people day which works out at £190. I wonder if I could get in contact with carlimits and see if he would do a SE day for a set price 8)

Dude, he'd increase the price if he knows it's all SE - he's been on a few Tut Towers, you know ;)
I am not really confident about getting up to speed with you guys as I dont rate my driving at all! I really need to learn a big amount to get anywhere near you guys\!
I wouldn't really worry much about that either. Everyone has completely different abilities, and there are so many people who have modded their cars that you just beat yourself up when a seemingly standard S1 goes roaring by and later you find out it's a Honda or something! Out there, you quickly learn who is fast, and who to move over a bit earlier for (ie really fast yellow cars...)

as for speed, my girlfriend made her track day debut on the speedfair friday too, in her mx5. 0-60 in about 3-4 seconds more than anything else that was on the track, standard (fairly worn) brakes, new and not worn in tyres (not super sticky either), she had a blast and no one had anything negative to say about how slow she was, although she now feels the urge to get something a bit quicker...

There's a comment taken out of context, if ever I heard it!

(In case anyone is confused, that's not true - I was inferring his time with Tut & the Ape may have put him off SE'ers ;))
