Since we’re talking about Planet Oceans, I was lucky enough to receive a genuine Omega leather strap for my recent big birthday.

It’s the strap for a Speedmaster and I know it’s not really the done thing to put leather on a divers watch but I really like it, changes the watch completely from the bracelet it was on before.

That looks good. I’ve had my Seamaster for 19 years and had been considering a leather strap just for a change. Even more tempted now .

I respectively disagree, although technically that's a zulu i think. That's what my speedy is on most of the time.

Yeah I know it’s just personal preference, but (to me) a nice watch like your Speedy on a NATO is like jeans and dress shoes.

Now I know Tapatalk can host photos I’ll add to this thread.

Going back a couple of years for these two additions, firstly for my wife’s 30th we made an effort to configure what we think is the perfect ladies watch, 31mm white gold datejust on jubilee with pink mother of pearl face and 10 diamond markers, still wouldn’t change anything.
Image

At the same time it was appropriate to treat myself too, 2015 Daytona with steel bezel makes it one of the last steel bezel models made. Bought it pre-owned but unworn from Edinburgh Watch Company, the same watches are now offered around £8k over what I paid in 2017, I should have bought more...
Image

Daytona barely gets worn these days actually, 2012 Explorer II remains the daily beater.

My watch needs a new Crown tube as the screw is knackered.

Anyone have any recommendations of someone who can sort this for me? Preferably Edinburgh but I guess I could always post it.

cheers Ed

Can anyone recommend somewhere in Scotland that can polish the light scratches off a polished casing ?
Also - My Omega Planet Ocean has a loose bezel - Not sending it back to Omega for 6 - 8 weeks
