Watch lovers?
Re: Watch lovers?
Can anyone recommend somewhere in Scotland that can polish the light scratches off a polished casing ?

Two negatives make a positive but only in Scotland do two positives make a negative - 'Aye right.'

Garmin looks good. I've been running a Galaxy Watch 3 for a couple of years. It's not bad, but looking for a change

I've gone the other way. Smart watch is in the drawer and i'm wearing my non-smart watches again. I found i had switched off most of the notifications and i was only real using it for the health stuff.
So i've bought this instead www.ouraring.com
Early days but loving choosing what watch to wear again.

Now that's a cool idea. Bit sketchy on the details and ~£100 a year after a dear hardware outlay is less than ideal. But I think the concept has legs. I'd need it to be 'good' at swimming which is remarkably not a common feature set. Most watches to it, but often not particularly well.Lazydonkey wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 3:14 pmI've gone the other way. Smart watch is in the drawer and i'm wearing my non-smart watches again. Re: Watch lovers?
So far I'm loving it. It worked in at just under £300 after custom fees, i was originally really worried about the resale (or lack thereof) but the gen3 seem to be going for around £200-£230 on eBay so that's one less thing to worry about. There is no monthly fee for the first 6 months and then after that it's $7 a month, which i think sits really well with the likes of Whoop being significantly more.Ferg wrote: ↑Fri Feb 25, 2022 12:40 amNow that's a cool idea. It's been bullying me to go to bed earlier and (more worryingly) it's already showed me how f*cked my sleep is after a few beers - and how many days it actually takes to get me back into the green again.
Samsung watch was sold a month ago and there's no looking back for me.
