Is it necessary to be a watch lover or car lover to have a lot of cars and watches, i am a car lover and then I am a watch lover too but I cannot afford a lot of accessories.

I’m a recent Apple Watch fud, it’s been a tough shift from a Tag Aquaracer 500m Ceramic which is now for special occaisions. My main motivation was for sport and fitness tracking as I was wearing my Suunto Spartan a lot more which is hideous for a daily watch. So I got my self a stainless black series 4 and ordered a couple of straps from http://thewatchstrap.co, a stainless band and a nice dark brown leather strap. Quality seems good and I dont now have a big ugly fitness watch an my wrist day to day. Only problem is I now never wear my tag because of those fcuk rings... gotta close them! 🤦‍♂️🙈

Ok chaps - son's 18th is later this year and he's fancying a nice watch.

I've told him max £700 and must be Swiss, he wants plain style stainless steel and leather strap, and has shown a fancy for a Tissot Le Locle Powermatic 80 like so:

https://www.tissotwatches.com/en-gb/sho ... -80-4.html

He's not sure about white or black face.

I've also seen a Raymond Weil of similar style at £600

Any other suggestions welcomed :cheers

It’s needs to be a Tag Heuer F1
Cheapest option is to buy in the USA from Authentic watches dot com and get it delivered to someone (or your hotel )
If you get it delivered to the UK - you’ll end up paying VAT & customs charge - work out more than UK retail
I done this with my wife’s Omega.
UK was £2150, I paid £1250 approx

Have sent him the link - see what he says....thanks!

I like it tho - I'm back to using my old 1993 TAG 2000 Chronograph as a daily beater which he doesn't like

I'd go for a Christopher Ward, and yes there is a £100 off at the moment, plenty options £500-£750, my next purchase. I currently have Omega Seamster and TAG F1, CW Trident 65 next .

Any of you experts have thoughts on Tudor watches? Like the look of the Black Bay Pepsi model.
