Strong Wee Car's

Post by Jacobite » Sun Jun 29, 2008 12:55 am

These Lotus
This morning Lachie, driving steadly on a straight section of road (it was already raining and the roof was up) hit a patch of standing water just outside Dollar and Barral Rolled the S1 into a field

Thankfully Lachie and his G/F walked away much to the amazment of the police and other people who saw the car which is what matters most, the car can be repaired/ rebuilt

The car was recovered by Craig Dimmock of Bathgate and is currantly waiting at Steve Walkers to get a better assesmenet of the options available once I get Ali to have a wee look and figure out the best way forward

I do know that even in our short time of Lotus owner ship we had a lot of fun and meet some intresting people - so we will most definitly be back once we get over this hic up

Lachie I know that must have had to be one of the most difficult phone calls to make within minutes of the accident to tell your Bro you've had an off But what matters most is that you guys are OK - Even if you've got a few aches and pains

The two off them walk away which is great news. Hope the aches and pains aren't to bad, it's normaly a day or two after that you find more sore bids

Good to see that they are both uninjured Hamish.

Just told Craig, and pretty sure it is the first 300hp Elise write off in Scotland.

Really gutted for you guys, but as you say both are ok which is the main thing, on a plus point the car dosnt look too bad. Hadnt heard from you but speaking to guys yesterday and was pleased to hear you were using the car at kames etc. Even speaking about you guys at the pub last night. Cheers Craig.

Glad to hear everyone is OK, looks like a very scary accident  Spoke to both of you at Kames last weekend and could tell how much you were enjoying the car, very sad to see it like this :(

Best of luck with whatever you decide to do :thumbsup

Looks like it was a BIG accident.

Very Lucky both to get out safely, especially in a soft top without helmets.

Take care,

Frank
