I went to Fintray on Sunday to watch the hill climb, met up with Ali C had a chat about our new toys and watched the racing. Well done to Jonathan and Mark the ghost set a new record in the first run of the afternoon then the heavens opened and it was all over. This win meant they have won the championship with three rounds still to go. What a great achievement. On the way home I had to stop off at the local Asda, came out and it was pi55ing it down. I had to wait 20 minutes for the rain to go off before I could go home.
I have used the car to drive to work every day (it would be rude not to). Monday night I went up to see Tut and we went for a run. Nice dry night and my confidence coming back I started to push the car a little. The biggest difference you notice with the 2-11 over the 340rR and the 240 Cup that I owned is the down force. Ok I am still running it in so can't really push it but the cornering feels unreal. I have always had well set up cars, but the 2-11 is in another league. The front end feels much lighter then any other elise variant I have ever driven and the turn in is very caterham like compared to a Elise variant (does that make sence?) Its hard to talk about the power when trying to take it easy but you can feel it's a quick car. I really can't wait to get this thing run in and get it on track.
300 miles and still not worn a helmet yet

Again, well done

Not at all jealous.
I guess the lighter steering and increased road holding will be down to the longer chassis?

...just a second hand, everyday car...

...convertible...
Should know today at some point.
2-11 looks fantastic. I think it would have taken class A8 at Fintray.

Love to see the car soon. When do you plan to have the first service? I may be able to meet up at MMC then.
I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.
