Cat D fix only £600

Dont worry, not buying or even interested in it, but blooody ell. Even with me being a numpty i have to assume there was a whole lot more to it being declared a cat d then a £600 respray!!

Not necessarily, it could've been stolen and recovered, hence the damage and a cat D record.

I guess it's possible, full Lotus cost of my rear clam fix was £4,000. Probably would of cost me less thab £200 if I was gettin it done myself on the cheap. So if that car had damage to front + rear clams, doors etc... then the 'official' repair costs could of written it of I imagine.
