After hearing about the trouble shug had with his nuts I had to get some fancy new shiney nuts

There normally ok if you keep them clean.... if you never have them off there bound to get rusty and tight.

I make about 150 sheets a month selling old clothes and bits and bobs on eBay.

You're right, people will buy anything. When I worked for Parkers we launched Car Chooser at £3.50 and no one was buying it from the shops - yet we found thumbed through copies on eBay going for a tenner each. Mental.
