Not surprised, heading into town on Saturday morning saw 2 crashes with the first 10 mins. Road were a nightmare, never known them to be so icy. Don't know what the council were thinking of, they grit when it rains and don't do anything when the temp drops.

Hope everyone involved makes a full recovery.

In fairness to the council - I was driving home at 3AM and the sky had just cleared and temperature was plummeting after heavy rain. They would have had an impossible task to cover the roads before the black ice formed. :( Take care :thumbsup

Not in Aberdeen, it was clear most of the night. I drove up to Inverness on Saturday morning and the roads were icy. I got held up for approx 45 minutes with a crash just outside Bucksburn. The people could hardly stand up when they got out of there cars and this was at 10am. Council hadn't gritted the A96
