Now, trackdays are not about racing.....

If you're gonna be there tomorrow - jump in with Andy (just slap him if he gets fresh) and let him show you the track through the side window....

Guaranteed to be a giggle. I'd offer myself - but unless the car fires up first thing tonight and I work until 4 in the morning, she won't be ready....

Heh... I'm not into paxing or pillioning having learnt over the years of being offered to be a passenger by my brother on various machines from motorbikes to jetskis to snowmobiles and even a Proton round silverstone that it only leads to complete and utter terror, and harsh words. (see last night's eastenders as an example).

I'd rather be in charge of my own destiny, thanks. And I won't be racing, I'll probably be struggling to keep up!!

I'll try to make the next CE evening - I believe it's a wednesday.

It's not at all terrifying (get in the car with Ed or I and you'll probably be asleep after a couple of laps)  Just ask DDtb.

Paxing with the quick guys (& gals, eh Mandy?) is a surefire way of learning the lines and braking points. You honestly can't believe these things are capable of what they are capable of, until you get in one with someone who drives it....

I can imagine, but at the same time I like my knuckles pink!

Maybe I could just follow a quick person in Raoul...

Last time I went round KH was in a caterham and I thought I was pretty quick in it. It was sooooo cool, breathtaking to be flying through that blind hump after duffus.

Atch am totally itching to get out in Raoul and give him a workout! Specially on a day like this (v. sunny in Glasgow).

My first pax laps were with Sh*g. Sort of a baptism of fire.....

Not scary but an education (steady...) as to what a skilled maniac and his sorted machine can really do
