Looks adorable, love it when they are that young with the new puppy smell, smooth pads and their noses are too short.

Had a doggie picture shoot up in Glamis with a pet photographer Craig Cantwell a couple of weeks ago.

Craig was absolutely fantastic and made both us and the dogs feel at ease. Massive variety of shots and would definitely recommend him if your wanting any pooch shots.

Thought I would attach a link to some of the many pictures that Craig selected from the morning's shoot in case anyone want to look through them:

Ok so a wee update from me - we had to say goodbye to our beautiful and loyal 14.5yr old L&W Springer Harvey early January and it was devastating for us all (especially as I was working in Greece at the time and wasn't home for another 7 weeks)

My wife said she didn't want another dog, but as she became more aware she missed the company and companionship, we agreed on another, albeit another breed as we didn't want to feel like we were replacing him.

So...this is Walter the Golden Retriever who was 4 weeks old yesterday, and depending on the duration of the lockdown we should collect him the middle of May :love

Just a shame we can't visit at the mo but the breeder has been brilliant in keeping us fed with pics and vids 8)

Lets just say we're all more than a bit excited

So sorry to hear about Harvey,

Walter looks absolutely adorable and hope that you manage to pick him up shortly.

Will be interesting to hear about the behavior of the 2 breeds as your are going from anarchy to obedience :) (That is from a fellow Spaniel owner by the way :) )

Thanks George. The real downside of dog ownership.

I can vouch for anarchy as Harvs was truly bonkers as a pup, but that was almost 15yrs ago and I like to focus on the good bits - a spaniel is never lacking in character, something we hope to get with a GR, albeit toned down a bit :damnfunny

Retrievers are still supposedly daft as a brush until about 2yrs old so we have this to look forward to, just have to wait and see how big he gets, which may lead onto another change in the family fleet - will see how Mrs B's F56 Cooper copes with the rear seats permanently folded and boot liner fitted... :scratch

Much as I would love that, I need something quicker, and cheaper, and she'd cut my left nut off if I swapped for it :damnfunny
