My Car Future is Bright ...

Post by Stewart » Tue Mar 24, 2009 10:50 pm

It is of course orange! 8)

I am delighted to confirm the rumours that I have indeed bought ScottyF's chrome orange S2 exige. I picked it up after work tonight.

I can't believe how every thing fell into place. I had been thinking about a change on and off for some time and loved chrome orange since Lee bought his exige after selling the 135 back to me. Before then I wasn't really a fan of the colour. I was disappointed to miss out on Malcolm's (Greyrigg) at MMC but I couldn't get the numbers to work with Graeme and at that point I hadn't advertised my own car.

After having my S1 on PH for a couple of weeks and really only getting interest from Continental Europe I was coming to terms with keeping it which I was really quite at ease with. Then of course I had a flurry of interest and ultimately a sale. I then sold my car on Saturday and went to see Scotty on Sunday and a deal was brokered.

Thanks to Scott for nice straight forward transaction. :thumbsup

I haven't had a chance to take pictures yet, but in Blue Peter stylee, here is one I took earlier :D

P.S.
I think I may have the only exige in Scotland with an SP06 plate. Because Scott had his own plate on it from new, it had to get the appropriate age related plate. From memory, I think all cars registered by MMC are SN (TN) but I could be talking rubbish

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.
