I find LinkedIn very useful as a networking tool for introductions and it's particularly useful as a consultant (and bit of a salesman) for expanding my network. Most of my contacts are genuine "real world" business relationships, but some are from introductions via LinkedIn.
I think of it as Facebook for the business world!

I've heard good things about it which is why I signed up a month or two ago. Hopefully it'll even generate some leads

Been using it a few yrs now and it is a good tool. need to dig out the aboves email addresses to add them.
