Only in my conscience really. Small crack underneath the front valance (not visible or structural) and dislodged the grill insert. All fixed minus a couple of stud fasteners for the NSF wheel arch liner - shouldn't be too hard to find.

That's what you get for going for a late night blast over the Dechmont hills I suppose.....

Could've been a deer - that would have been sore! But would've tasted better on the BBQ

I'm a bit soft when it comes to things like that but he should have stopped, looked and listened.

Big prob with badgers in the Bathgate Hills actually, their centuries old pathways cross the main roads in a couple of places apparently, and badgers aren't for going around!

Had that been an Elise it *might* have been new clam time. Hm.

Never knew clams were a part of a badgers diet - thanks and good night!

Interesting re their old pathways - I remember an old friend up that way had a badgers set outside his garden and they frequently trailed across the same part of the garden. This badger wasn't for going around, but he certainly went under. Maybe we should start a campaign for tunnels? I'm sure something similar was done for frogs down south somewhere.

Anyway, before this degenerates into Animal Park - has anyone hit anything worthy of eating (or donating to the local take away)?!?

Spotted a Mallard dead on a main road in Lincoln about half four in the morning on Sunday. It was a lot flatter in the afternoon.

there was an unidentified blob of roadkill on the borders route around kelso - there were around 4 or 5 cars in front of me that drove over it no problem then my turn with an extra low ride height...

front scoop on clam whacked it followed by a scraping from front to back. Its then you realise how close your arse is to the ground and that theres not much separating you from the ground as you feel it rubbing underneath

got out later to check and it had left a nice bit of fur at the front, with a big red skid mark from front to back.

The look on the OH's face was a picture!

Only managed to get a sparrow so far this year. In fact have not hit anything big for a while

To date; 1 Pheasant, 1 Magpie, 3 Pigeons (one on the Moutainbike ) a few Sparrows (or little birds), a few millions bugs.

Await DDtB to come along with his more impressive list.

Did manage to get a sparrow caught between the number plate and the front mesh when I had the S1. Noticed it only due to the load of feathers coming through the vents

Stopped to asses the damage and in true manly fashion I poked its head with a stick - which dislodged it and it then flew away

Once knew a girl who heard a screaching noise when driving, got out the car and an owl was wedged between the roof and the roof bars.

Road kill badgers benefit the environment but only th the south west of england and wales as they spread TB.

Took out a badger a few months back - wrecked my radiator and front bumper etc. £1700 of damage. Solid creatures, hardly any damage to it just a small dent in the top of its head!

I've hit a few bunnys and exploded one bunny

Many years ago in my fathers pickup with large bullbars going along a country lane i encountered a bunny with a bit more brains then most as it suddenly remember that being a bunny it was very very good at jumping. So it then proceeded to try and jump over the big thing heading towards it, sadly it was a bit crap at the whole time and distance thing and scored a direct hit on the bullbar.

So bunny guts everywhere as the poor bugger exploded on impact not pretty on a white pick-up. A while later i find a small piece of bunny intestine wrapped round a cooling pipe, lovely
