New toy

Post by Mike Scib » Thu Jun 18, 2009 10:18 am

Finally after about 3 months of changing my mind on pretty much a daily basis, going something like....S1-S2-S2 Exige-Integra-Clio Trophy-Intergra-S2-S1. Not to mention the standard S1-111's-160-111's-etc  But in the end i could not bring myself to buy a standard S1 as i knew i would be wanting a bit more power, CR box, nicer interior and the rest eventually

Missed a few good cars along the way as i was not fast enough to move on them but with the help of SE and in particular Ed and JJ :cheers i ended up with...........

Yes i know the hard top is on  but it will be coming off once i get a chance, at least its dirty

S1 Sport 135, Fecking loving it  :D 8) Covered about 500 miles already with a few B road blasts.......unbelievable the way you (well the car) can carry so much speed through the corners, so settled with the back end only coming in to play if you are really pushing on. The brakes will take a bit of getting used to having no servo, but it is still so settled on the brakes even trail braking going in, just so well balanced 8)

My paranoia is still there over the K, i seem to drive with one eye on the road and one on the temp gauge :damnfunny . Already had to break open the toy kit as the drivers window fell out  . But other than that all is going great guns.

Also need to say cheers to Dan from JPS for coming to check the car over on my behalf, appreciated :thumbsup

Dare i say it "K love man!" Should of got one years ago :blackeye

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

You will learn to love it young man....

Mine had been a pig for ages and I finally swapped out the coils last night. Fired up like it's never done before and settled back to it's slightly lumpy idle. Didn't get a chance to go for a quick blast, sadly. Focking great wee engines :thumbsup

Looks a good car mate - well done :thumbsup
