Oulton Park

Post by r055 » Mon Jul 27, 2009 2:43 pm

I met Craig down in Oulton Park on Saturday to watch the elise trophy races...

...anyway, it looks like a cracking track for the lotus. Im sure most of the SE1 crew (or 'SE Seniors') have been, so what's you opinion on it? Would it be a nice progression up from Knockhill?

I thought it was awesome, hampered only by the rain and snow

Would love to go back in the dry. Took benny out for some laps and think he was sh*t it as much as I was

its epic - did my first ever race there, and have been in live with the track ever since.

Such a mix of corners, elevations, grip, its all there.

Thinking of going on 12/12 with Lot for an end of season road trip :thumbsup

I love it. I did my 1st race in time attack there earlier in the year. Absoultely loved it. It has all the ingredients of a great circuit. Its pretty hairy in the wet though. I would not let that put you off.
