Long term implications for bonded chassis ?
Long term implications for bonded chassis ?
Is there any opinions/info on the state the bond will be in, in 20 years time?

Isn't it aircraft grade glue? In which case it should be lasting 30 years plus, or I'm not getting on a plane again.

Well the F27 has been in service for 50 years and has redux bonded components http://www.fokkerservices.com/?id=10641
As long as Lotus did the bonding correctly and has not been overstressed ie:crashed or chemically attacked it should be in perfect condition. Should corrosion in the metal occur thats a different story.
Here is an article written in 1946 showing the benifits . 60 years ago, things have moved on.
