Glassfibre repair recommendation

A couple of people at Knockhill on Saturday asked me about glassfibre repairs.

This is the guy ( ask for Derek ) that I used recently :

Dools Auto Refinishing,
132 Whitehill Road,
Whitehill Industrial Estate,
Glenrothes, Fife.
01592-772553.

Derek specialises in painting but has another guy who he has come in to do the glassfibre and strip-down / build-ups.

I can thoroughly recommend their work, having now had a first class respray done on my old 911, a bad scratch repaired on the Panda and most recently my Elise's front clam repaired after I clipped the apex at MacInytres a little too enthusiastically.

The clam was pretty badly damaged but was repaired / re-enforced and painted for a total of £450 :D ( I removed and replaced the clam myself to save some cash ) A fantastic job - It now looks absolutely brand new!

I originally got the recommendation to try them from Ally Rennie :thumbsup

High quality, friendly service and excellent prices.

No relationship - just a very happy customer.

Kevin.

Kev, how much was the 911 respray? same colour or different one?

Mass,

it was resprayed in the same ( yellow ) colour. The cost was approx 2.5k but involved a lot of stripping down ( windscreen out, bonnet and front / rear valances removed and sandblasted, wheels repainted etc, etc )

I was told that an Elise should be significantly less.
