A friend of mine is away to look at a S2 111s. Wondered if anyone on here has previously owned or knows the car.

Jon is correct.......
But you can throw the book away if you are trying to value it
A trade value would be around £8k...........but try buying one for that
Allow £500 for the hardtop
£10500 feels about right with the onslaught of winter

Glass' retail for that is just over £13.5k!
(anyone with an actual book care to confirm that? I've always wondered how accurate the web page I found was)
Agree that seems like strong money for what it is.

Me and Chris G went to look at this car. Car is ok, its had plenty of paint at front and sides which hasn't been done too well.
Chris organised with garage to view the car inside as it is too dark at night to check a car. We were about 10 mins into looking when another guy showed up to look. I found this a little off putting as we had to wait for him to get out the car or away from under the bonnet etc .... he then offered the guy a price for it. So we just walked away.
In a nut shell - Car is too pricey for condition and i never really got a good look round because the Garage had double booked the viewing.
