Guy in work was telling me about this, until recently I wasn't aware who KH's first corner was named after. Wouldn't really want to be in his shoes right now.

Read this a couple of weeks ago when it was in the paper, staggering  , not good PR for his business or KH's.

Never even heard of him. Not a good driving record by all accounts - however Seat Curves sucks, think it will be known as Duffus Dip for a long time yet. At least i learned something today.

Knew who he was and that Duffus Dip was named after him, though possibly via the old motorcycle dealership in Dundee (reckon there is still an Alan Duffus motorcycles in Fife somewhere?)

Let's not forget the corner was named after his successes and not his later life activity when he clearly became a complete twat. I mean George Best Belfast City Airport was named after he became a drunk wife beater who skipped transplant queues when others without alcohol problems needed the organ...

Yes there is, it's where I bought my Aprilia a few tears back. Seemed like a nice bloke, although they all are when selling something. :?

Why would you even race a Corsa of all things never mind near a built up area? Crazy!?

That's a shocking read. After previously being convicted of causing a death and a 3 year ban he is given back his licence and 3 months later a 2nd innocent person dies. This time he gets fined £250 for careless driving and a 2nd 3 year ban. Shows what a complete ass the law is that he was given a 3rd roll of the dice. He deserves nothing less than a prison sentence and a lifetime driving ban. How he can live with himself is beyond me :x

obviously none of us have the full facts, so i'll refrain from posting what i think. But there was one comment in the article about the 1980 crash, where he crashed his car at an estimated 100mph, then fled the seen, leaving his passenger to die. Thats a pretty poor decision right there.

I met the guy a few times and thought he was okay. He used to do a lot with Pirelli bike tyres and that was how I met him.

You can only take people at face value. He deserves everything he gets.

Interesting to see what he gets when sentenced next month, Could he get a prison sentance? Certainly deserves it from the look of it!

How he can deny seeing the accident happening right behind him, especially after probably "brake testing" the Corsa!

Three times is a bit more than cooincidence and bad luck!

I Was told by someone very recently about this whole case and the driving history of the individual in question ( And they know the facts very well about it ) , there is a lot more which will come out in the wash.............
