Hello everyone,
Don't think I know very many of you, but you may remember me as the guy who worked with Shug in Buchanan Galleries back in the good old days of AMP3 Glasgow!! I've also helped out at a few of the AMP3 Trackdays!
Myself and a few of my friends are taking on a pretty massive challenge in June this year, we're planning to climb the top 10 mountains in the UK (all conveniently located in Scotland!) not content with simply walking we're adding a twist to the challenge... We're going to cycle between the three different locations, Aviemore to Fort William, and then Fort William to Killin, so all in we'll be walking for 60 miles, cycling for 135 miles, and climbing over 8850m (thats just higher than mount Everest!)
Why? We're supporting the local Beatson Institute for Cancer Reasearch, a fantastic charity at the forefront of cancer research!
I really hope you will all support myself in this challenge, its going to be a total slog, but knowing we're doing it for such a good cause will pull us through it!
the address for the site is http://www.justgiving.com/10in2010
Thanks in advance!
Dave
