Going to be an interesting race with the top drivers on the back rows.

Again we can thank the rain for what's shaping up to be another good race :)
Nice to see Lotus through to Q2.

Could be a non-race ... they were quick to call it off in Q3, last year the race was stopped early ... this year it might not even start :-(

It's a predicament for them. I spent six years out there and there are two monsoon systems a year, both of six months each from opposite directions.

It means that you get regular bursts of heavy rain in the late afternoon, which often turn into Monsoons and make driving impossible. At least it is warm rain, and it used to be enjoyable standing out in it when you had temps in the 40's and humidity in the high 90's.

Be careful if you are recording it.

The race is only on BBC1 from 0900-1000. It then transfers to BBC2 at 0955 for the second half. Also record the following program in case it over runs.

I suspect there will be a lot of people disapponted when they settle down to watch the race they recorded.

It seems an odd thing to split it between two channels, why not put it all on BBC.2 ?

Good to see the Lotus lined up next to McLarens and Ferraris, just a shame it is at the wrong end of the grid.

OK, so it won't help anybody but those that can travel through time - they are unlikely to have to record anything, though, eh?
