Yeah, I noticed it too but a few concerns:

1) Why so cheap? Similiar Exiges are £18K+
2) Engine rebuild - two words that scare me. OK, problems may have been fixed but how likely is it due another rebuild and when?

I guess it's cheap enough that if anything went wrong you could stick a Audi lump in it. Don't bother with a Honda - too common and I wouldn't give that Scuffman twat any of my money.

As long as there is evidence of a professional rebuild then I don't see why thats a problem. It is very cheap though...

I don't think I've seen an S1 Exige advertised that hasn't had a rebuild...

all vhpd? engines i believe need rebuilt at around 20-25k miles according to the book, or so im told.

it appears to be a resonable car with lots of good mods, im sure it wont stay around for long.

What makes you think he makes any money doing this? I any case he is safe from your custom seeing as how you'll never actually buy it and if you do, you'll only sell it again

My reasons:

You only have to read this pish he posts slating my pal the Mexi Jock! (Mostly of late having a good laugh about Uldis travelling south to a track to be kicked off for being too noisy)
Apart from that, his attitude sucks.

Bodywork reflects price according to the seller. Stonechips etc.

Ah, so your point was to mention a Honda conversion so that you could then steer the conversation around to slagging of Herr Scuffman ...

My point was that you could quite happily convert to Honda without any money going to him and that even if you did the conversion with the dealer that he supplies, he wouldn't actually make any money out of it.

But never mind ...

Anyway, I was in a hurry when I read your post and therfore misread it but yes, you're quite right. You could get a Honda conversion without going via him.

Should I ever make a deal with the devil and want a soulectomy for my elise I'd probably send it to Sinclairs.

Was quite impressed with the neatness of the install in 4mm's car - might want something other than a dual fuel pump situation though.
